About Me

I have known, since I was about 4 years old, that one day I would help people. There was never an iota of doubt. What I meant then, which I know now, is that my life’s aim was (and is) to improve people’s quality of life. That belief has continued throughout my adult life. Now through sustained learning and development of Acupuncture and Nutrition, I have the innate ability to fulfil my dream.

I embarked on my journey in 1997 when I studied Fitness and Nutrition in South Africa. This journey continued to the UK, and at a time in my life when I was run-down, overworked and highly stressed, I discovered Acupuncture. The treatments gave me more energy, I felt more able to deal with stress, I felt much happier, less anxious and started sleeping properly; all this, without having to take any medication. I realised that although conventional medicine could do wonders such as open-heart surgery and fix broken limbs, Acupuncture could do wonders for the ailments conventional medicine could not find a cause for like general feelings of being unwell; unexplained pain, exhaustion and emotional issues such as frustration, anxiety and depression. I was astounded by how well I felt! I knew how much it could benefit everyone I came into contact with. I had found the treatment modality that would do exactly what I wanted to do from such a young age: Improve quality of life.

The sense of well-being I feel from the Acupuncture treatments I have, and the feedback I receive from my patients continues to give me hope that Acupuncture will soon be an integral part of our health care service.

I gained my BSc(Hons) degree in Acupuncture and a Licentiate Diploma in Acupuncture following 5 years study at the London College of Traditional Acupuncture which is affiliated with Portsmouth University. I have also spent time in Hangzhou, China on an internship where I saw Acupuncture given as a main form of treatment in Hospitals. I have a Diploma in Fitness and Nutrition from South Africa and hold an advanced First Aid certificate.

Please feel free to give me a call or email me to discuss whether Acupuncture or Nutritional Coaching can help you.
